Water week
Through a Leonardo Mobilità training AITA arranged the "Water Week": a series of meetings and on site thematic applications.
Training subject matters
• fluvial bed management,
from the sources to the mouth;
• source-picking up and subsequent raising and injection in different types of water supply nets;
• drinking water treatment and monitoring;
• artificial basins creation and their environmental impact assessmen
•territorial monitoring, through the presentation of the research and policy instruments.

Training programme
 July 3rd 06 - visit to the river Calore source yards, nearby the little towns of Montella and Cassano; Pollentina Source; picking up waterworks; lifting apparatus of Cassano;" Pavoncelli" water tunnel ; lifting apparatus of Caposele;
July 4th 06 - visit to Conza della
Campania and its W.W.F. oasis; environmental protection analysis; excursion to Conza Vecchia; operation survey of the Conza dam;
July 5th 06 - "AITA e GWF in
touch", studies and analysis on projects and collabotations;
 July 6th 06 - ’ARIN' Serino sources, river Sabato Upper and LowerSources, present picking up and canalization systems, the new aqueduct; visit to the Via Argine Analysis Plant; Capodimonte raising waters tanks and Waters Museum;
July 7th 06 - excursion to the Monte Vergine Monastery; Government Body of "Autorità di Bacino Liri - Garigliano e Volturno", presentation of its main activities, environmental protection subjects, present territorial monitoring documentation and tools, explanation of the "direct action" role.
